MEET KILLER SUDOKU
Killer sudoku is sudoku with cages: each dotted cage shows the sum of its cells, and no digit repeats inside a cage. This app gives you thousands of them with no banner, no video between puzzles and nothing to unlock today’s daily.
Hints that explain why
A hint first shows where to look. Tap Why and it explains the step, like a cage with only one combination or the rule of 45. Only then does it place the digit.
Levels that mean something
Easy needs singles and cage combinations. Medium adds the rule of 45. Hard uses it across several rows. Expert asks for what-if reasoning. The app tells you which techniques a puzzle needs.
Tools for real solving
Two keypads for answers and notes, drag to select cells, cage totals for any selection, every possible combination for a cage, auto notes, undo and redo. Mistake checking is optional.
Daily and weekly puzzles
The same daily puzzle for everyone, gentle on Monday and Expert at the weekend, with a calendar and gentle streaks. Seven new weekly puzzles every Monday.

Does it work offline?
Yes. Every puzzle is built into the app, so it works on a plane or underground, with no account.
How do killer sudoku rules work?
Fill the grid so every row, column and 3×3 box holds 1 to 9 once. The numbers in each dotted cage must add up to the cage’s total, and a digit can’t repeat inside a cage. Our killer sudoku rules guide explains it with examples.
Is it free?
Yes. 2,800 puzzles, hints, lessons, dailies and weekly challenges are free, and nothing in the free game is locked. Optional one-time extras add 500 harder puzzles and eight more colour themes.
