Two numbers, not one
Days held is what every counter shows. Urges survived counts the times you wanted to reach out and didn’t. Someone on day 3 who got through nine bad nights has done real work, and the app shows it.
BREAKUP RECOVERY / No Contact Counter
No Contact Counter & Tracker is a free iPhone app for keeping no contact after a breakup. It counts the days since you last reached out, and gives you one button for the moment you want to text your ex.

MEET NO CONTACT COUNTER
Open it and see how long you’ve held. No account, no sign-up and no questionnaire about your ex first. The day counter, the “I want to text them” flow, your letters and your history are free, with no limit and no trial.
Days held is what every counter shows. Urges survived counts the times you wanted to reach out and didn’t. Someone on day 3 who got through nine bad nights has done real work, and the app shows it.
Tap “I want to text them” and you get ten seconds of breathing first. Then one of your own reasons, written on a calmer day, and your list of red flags: the specific things that happened.
Write everything you wanted to say, in an app that has nowhere to send it. Keep the letter and read it back in daylight, or delete it.
A calendar of every day you’ve held. Tap a day to see the urges you got through, the letters you kept and a one-tap check-in. There is no check-in streak to lose.
The counter goes back to one, but your letters, reasons and red flags stay. The app remembers how long you held before, because that happened.
No account, no ads and no analytics. Data stays on your phone and in your own private iCloud, which we can’t read. Optional Face ID lock. No AI chatbot anywhere in the app.
